The Paper Kites takes you on a trip with their beautiful indiefolk, characterized by guitars drowning in delay and eighties influenced synthesizers. In 2018, the Melbourne band impressed their indie fans once more with their newest and latest studio album ‘On the Corner Where You Live’. In the early years their music mostly consisted of acoustic folksongs, but they made the beautiful transition to lovely layered songs including saxophone, electric guitars and rich soundscapes.

Born and raised in the remote fishing village of Husavik (population 2000), Axel Flóvent rose to acclaim in early 2016 after the release of the impressive Forest Fires EP, closely followed by 2017’s Quiet Eyes EP. Having spent the part 18 months residing in the Netherlands, the now Brighton based singer-songwriter has cultivated a broader sound on a brand new collection of songs, set for release in 2018.
