Hedvig Mollestad Trio never fails to expand its own horizon. If there’s one band that’s hard to label, well, it’s this one. Jazz, metal, stonerswing, doomjazz? No label will truly cover the range of influences hidden in their music. They formed in 2009, and released four studio albums and one live album to date. A brand new studio album is already in progress. Anyway, if you really, really had to describe their sound, we’ll go for an eclectic mix of John Coltrane-inspired jazz and 70’s Black Sabbath-ish heavy rock.
