Dutch-born/Berlin-based Thomas Azier makes moody yet highly dynamic synth pop centered on his robust singing voice. Born in the Netherlands, Azier moved to Berlin at age 19 to pursue a music career and quickly ensconced himself in the city’s techno and club scene. Dissatisfied with much of the electronic music he encountered, Azier began writing and recording his own material. In 2014 he released his debut full-length album, Hylas, on Universal. Three years later, he returned with his sophomore album, Rouge, featuring the singles “Gold” and “Talk to Me.”
Azier has been doing a lot of shows, such as Best Kept Secret, Lowlands, Eurosonic and even headlining some shows in New York and Paris. Tonight he will return to VERA to perform his brand new exclusive live show called ‘S t r a y’.
