Belgian progressive metal band Hippotraktor combines heavy riffs and polyrhythmic grooves with atmospheric passages and melodic vocals. Their sound moves between post-metal, djent and progressive metal, drawing comparisons to bands like Meshuggah and Gojira. Following the well-received debut album ‘Meridian’, the band released their second record ‘Stasis’ through Pelagic Records in 2024. On October 2, 2026, Hippotraktor return with the new album ‘Annihilist’, continuing to expand their dynamic and layered sound.
