Bare Jams are an upbeat, fun lovin' group from the UK. They describe their music as 'poppy-funk with a whiff of reggae and ska'. Their happy rhythms go along with catchy lyrics about the daily life, party's, their gnome pet, the Hokey-Cokey and sometimes even about politics and other serious shit."

Al sinds 2010 staat La Pegatina in Nederland garant voor een knalfuif. Met een optreden op Lowlands werden de eerste harten gewonnen, sindsdien speelde de band festivals als Pinkpop, Parkpop, Zwarte Cross en dit jaar nog het Bevrijdingsfestival plat met hun opzwepende optelsom van Mestizo, disco en ska.

De zevenkoppige band presenteerde op 12 juni het vijfde album El Revulsiu. Dit album staat vol met besmettelijke Frans- en Spaanstalige teksten die te midden van het feestgedruis een bundeling van vreugde, maar ook reflectie herbergen.

Bare Jams zijn een upbeat, fun lovin’ collectief uit Engeland. Zelf verwoord als ‘Poppy-Funk met een stiekeme vleug Reggae en Ska’. Hun vrolijke ritmes worden bijgestaan door catchy lyrics over het dagelijks leven, feestjes, hun huiskabouter, de Hokey-Cokey, en soms zelfs politiek and andere serieuze zooi. “They’ll have you chillin’, then get you skankin’, even put a smile on your face.” Biologisch en vers gebrouwen party vibes die je niet mag missen. Ze deden al support voor bands als Will & The People.
