After his neo-psychedelic adventures with Green On Red, Chuck Prophet has been touring Europe for forty years with his unique mix of alt-country, folk, blues, and power pop. His last tour drew plenty of full houses, and with a new album on the horizon, Chuck will return to Europe in 2024 for an extensive tour.
This new album was created in collaboration with the Cumbia group ¿Qiensave?. Wake The Dead is an extraordinary and unlikely collaboration, where Prophet and ¿Qiensave? seamlessly come together in a collection that dives deep into the world of Cumbia music. As Chuck Prophet & his Cumbia Shoes, Chuck will be joined by members of ¿Qiensave? as well as James DePrato and Vicente Rodriguez from his band, The Mission Express.
