The beauty of simplicity and mud and dance, simple set-ups straight to the core during this collaboration of Zot and VERA Downstage!
It is easy to get reeled in by the structured, repetitive and minimal style of playing by the norwich-based band Germ Lattice, using a seemingly simple set-up with drums, bass and synth. but, before you know it, you're walking on muddied grounds, creeping slowly up your spine until you are completely covered by it. it’s their novel way of using microphones and live tape processing that makes you want to embrace it and roll around in it.
A daring promise by Brussels-based duo Pizza Noise Mafia: they will make you dance. so far, they have always succeeded, playing with a minimalist set-up using a drum machine and a synthesiser, that’s it. We will get a glimpse of their upcoming album to be released in december 2025. a long journey through their ten years of electronic music: a nocturnal odyssey, hedonistic and ecstatic, but resolutely far from the techno motorway, along seldom-trodden and unpredictable paths. | Zot
