The band you hate to love, Fat White Family, have stormed the palace, ceased the throne and have made it to arena level via the back door at the invitation of The Strokes. Years into a career defined by collapsing masculinity, Celtic mysticism, pound shop shamanism, provocation, eroticism, wanton violence, joy, radical empathy, narcissism, hog-like indulgence, personality defects and some of the best musical performances this fractured isle has ever witnessed. The South London-spawned band return to Groningen, clean(ish) and serene(ish), for their first show at VERA since 2015. Expect a thrilling live performance as Fat White Family’s genre-defying art rock fuses post-punk, krautrock and death disco into a dark, hypnotic and unpredictable spectacle.
