In The Human Surge 3, we follow three groups of friends wandering the countryside and cities in different parts of the world: Sri Lanka, Taiwan and Peru. They are looking for a more meaningful existence, away from the daily life defined by their uninspiring side jobs. Director Eduardo “Teddy” Williams made an ultimate fluid film, where language, nationality, gender and relationships merge as a matter of course. He used a 360-degree camera for this, which further enhances that sense of fluidity. If you surrender to it, in The Human Surge 3 you will be swept into a hypnotic experience of unparalleled beauty.

This screening is a collaboration with Field Recordings, a platform for experimental and anthropological film, sound and landscape cinema. The fifth edition will take place November 8-9-10 at WORM in Rotterdam. If you feel like seeing more, check out the full program from Oct. 18 at: www.fieldrecordings.org.
