Driven by urgency, 14 Dutch FLINTA*-fronted bands join forces for Girls to the Front! This compilation album explores what the bands aim to convey through their music, the issues they address in the music industry, and the changes they want to see, while simultaneously showcasing the diversity of sounds in the Dutch punk scene.
Following its release on International Women’s Day at EKKO, Girls To The Front is now touring the country, with a stop at VERA. On our stage: the unpredictable riot grrrl punk sensation Consensual Peggy, echoing garagepunk group FEMME FUGAZI, the six-piece Hague punk rock formation CHATTERMAG, and the chilly, dissonant post-punk project Ioana Iorgu.
