Since 1990, God Dethroned has stood as a relentless force in the metal scene, driven by the unwavering vision of frontman Henri Sattler. With a sound that fuses the icy atmosphere of black metal with the crushing intensity of death metal, the band delivers razor-sharp riffs, blistering blast beats, and haunting melodies that leave scorched earth behind. In 2019, they captured the fury of Bloody Blasphemy live at VERA. Their 2024 release, The Judas Paradox, is a fierce and pitch-black statement—raw, unyielding, and proof that God Dethroned remains one of the genre’s most vital and uncompromising voices.

Support Written in Blood was formed in 2019 by ex-members of God Dethroned and Mandator. They blend old-school death metal with influences from Unleashed, Bolt Thrower, and Hypocrisy, drawing lyrical inspiration from myth, folklore, and ancient history.
