During their first tour, King Hannah could hardly believe where their debut record had taken them. The Liverpool indierock duo, consisting of Hannah Merrick and Craig Whittle, found themselves in the middle of the deserts of New Mexicuo, US of A, and many other places they’d only seen in films and television.

Their upcoming album, Big Swimmer, reflects on the stories from the duo’s travels through Europa and North America, where King Hannah found themselves looking through their tourbus’ window as a sort of screen, allowing inspiration to come pouring in. The album leaves your hairs standing on the back of your neck, between the at times prickly, and often heartening imagery of its storytelling. It’s very likely that when listening, you’ll find yourself daydreaming of a lake in summer and wanting to jump on in.
