After the success of debut album Big Enough and the following tour, Mooneye went back into the studio at the end of 2022 to record their sophomore album. Frontman Michiel Libberecht knew exactly what he wanted to do: go back to the essence of Mooneye and create intimate music built from an acoustic foundation. For this he drew inspiration from the American way of songwriting, with elements of folk and country. This resulted in a stunning, varied yet coherent album.

You’ll get to hear what that sounds like when their new album comes out in February, but to get the full Mooneye experience you should hear their music live. With new songs, beloved album tracks and a band that works like a well-oiled machine, it’s guaranteed to be a memorable night.

Support Philemon brings you heartfelt indie-folk with an edge. Anton De Boes, the singer and songwriter behind Philemon, grew up in a musical family. As the son of a Beatles-freak and a music teacher, he was brought up on melodies and scales. With his previous EPs ‘Hourglass‘ and ‘Familiar Stranger‘, Anton received a lot of praise from the Belgian press and radio. He claims to be inspired by Elliott Smith and Wilco, but feel free to add Father John Misty and loving tears.
