Movies that Matter: Iranian (Mehran Tamadon, 2014) [English version below]

Should women wear a veil? Is secular society an illusion? In a beautiful country house outside of Tehran, the atheistic Iranian filmmaker Mehran Tarmadon discusses the Iranian regime with four supporters of the Islamic Republic. While cooking, eating and listening to music, the men discuss their different takes on politics, civil society and the (im)possibility of peaceful coexistentence. A unique, humoristic and philosophical document about difference, human nature and above all the importance of dialogue.
