Although Sexual Drive does not contain any explicit sexual scenes, the line between perversity and sensuality is continuously explored. By repeatedly provoking the viewer’s association, while cinematographic elements (f.e. close-ups) emphasize that association, director Kota succeeds in evoking sensory imagination from the viewer. In short, Sexual Drive is an extraordinary film that not only explores the eroticism of the oral drive in a visually pleasing way, but also manages to light-heartedly address the complexities of sexual desire.
