On April 30, a small and cozy festival takes place in student rooms in Groningen! You can experience music, dance, theatre, and other art forms up close. Most artists are based in Groningen. The festival offers an intimate way to discover culture and emerging talent. And this year, the Stukafest Afterparty is back at VERA! Two bands and a DJ will wrap up this edition of the student room festival.

Ever wondered what a storm sounds like during sunshine? Crybabies from Tilburg transforms that feeling into solid beats, fuzzy, dreamy guitars, and melancholic lyrics. As the name suggests, the band loves a good cry and sees being “too” sensitive in a bitter world as a great compliment. Inspired by the riot grrrl movement, Crybabies brings a mix of lighthearted humor, feminist rage, and bubble grunge to the stage.

The Utrecht-based band Fit delivers a distinctive show with their explosive mix of post-punk, shoegaze, and hip-hop, where the band’s infectious energy is guaranteed to get the crowd moving.

Sachiko is an Estonia-born, Netherlands-based DJ, music producer, and artist. She uses the concept of “Making Vortex” in her music and art. A vortex represents creating a shared energy field with everyone she connects with—a momentum where every element, movement, and turn is guided by her intuition, whether it’s a seamless flow or a sharp, unexpected удар. It’s a world co-created with the bodies of the listeners—an intimate, energy-releasing moment of experience.
