The American experimental musician Aaron Dilloway approaches sound as something living and disruptive. Using 8-track tape loops, voice, tape delays, and organic noise, he constructs sonic collages where tension, humor, and alienation intertwine. His work balances between menace and absurdity, with repetition and distortion at its core. As a founding member of Wolf Eyes and the driving force behind Hanson Records, Dilloway has become a leading figure in the international noise and tape experiment scene. It’s been about ten years since his last European performance and his show at VERA offers a rare chance to experience him live in the Netherlands.

Support Lily Dollner advocates ‘unproductiveness’ in her work and uses a rational, procedural framework to support absurd and impossible performances. Impracticability is embraced over the utilitarian mentalities and social constructions that have infiltrated our daily lives. Productivity culture and industrialism are parodied in her circular, functionless works, where ’the point’ is absent, abstract or unattainable.
