Dreamy krautrock inspired shoegaze
British band bdrmm started out as a bedroom project set up by lead vocalist Ryan Smith, who later included his brother and some friends in what was supposed to be a solo project. When their single C:U was picked up by a small London label they began gaining recognition, their song being played on the radio which lead them to be signed with Sonic Cathedral in 2019.
Their debutalbum Bedroom showcased a mix of dreamy shoegaze with influences from krautrock, postpunk and 90’s alternative, creating a unique and irresistable sound. In 2023 bdrmm released their second album I Don’t Know, in which expanded their range of experimentation by taking inspiration from trip-hop, slowcore and jazz.
