Melancholic, atmospheric doom and death metal rooted in the early ’90s: Sad Whisperings evolved from raw death metal into a sound inspired by My Dying Bride and Paradise Lost. Their debut Sensitive to Autumn (1993) was revived in 2022 through VIC Records, marking the band’s return to the stage with their dark, captivating, and emotionally charged music.
In a metal scene full of talent, the Dutch blackened death metal band Cryptosis managed to stand out from the very beginning. Since their formation in 2020, this forward-thinking metal trio has impressed with their powerful and technically refined sound. Their debut album Bionic Swarm (2021) hit like a bomb: an intense and meticulously crafted work in which the band explores a futuristic and dystopian vision.
