Melbourne five-piece Delivery have quickly established themselves as one of Australia’s most exciting new guitar bands. Fusing wiry post-punk, scrappy garage rock and art punk with razor-sharp hooks, the band built a reputation on their explosive live shows before breaking through with their acclaimed debut Forever Giving Handshakes. Their second album, Force Majeure (2025), released via Heavenly Recordings, pushed their sound even further with bigger melodies, sharper songwriting and the same relentless energy that made them a standout in the first place.
On stage, Delivery are a whirlwind of shifting vocal duties, buzzing synths, interlocking guitars and infectious punk urgency. Chaotic yet tightly controlled, their shows are fast, loud and impossible to stand still through.
Emerging from South Cornwall’s grassroots psych scene – The Heavenly Bodes channel a shared love of classic 60s acid-garage into something immediate and intimate, and specifically rooted in the here and now of the West Coast cornucopia they call home. Fully self-produced, it captures the band’s loose, unpolished spirit – landing somewhere between scrappy garage-rock abandon and woozy Velvets cool.
