Once started as the solo project of Donald Madjid, Don Melody Club has grown into a full-fledged five-piece live band. Their music moves between the rhythmic patterns of Talking Heads, the melancholy of Doe Maar, and the depth of dub. The result is an adventurous, layered sound in which Don’s distinctive voice runs like a red thread through it all.

The band’s debut album, Pure Donzin, was released in 2021 on the Swiss label Bongo Joe — and now, new music is on the way! The first single from this new work, Stilte Voor De Storm (“Calm Before the Storm”), is already available online.

Support Tienson: you might know him as a DJ or have seen him on percussion with Jungle by Night. As a solo artist, however, he reveals a completely different side.
