Eigen Risico presents a night where raw hip hop collides head-on with other genres. Featuring La Rat — the experimental hip hop duo Goya van der Heijden and Tobias Jansen — who submerge familiar hip hop sounds in murky canals, with pitch-shifted vocals, Madlib-esque beats, and a heavy dose of humour and self-mockery. Cult rapper KLEINE CRACK and his longtime producer SLAGTER from Antwerp round things off with possessed rhythms, destructive energy, and a set that shows no mercy. And of course Eigen Risico himself, delivering a raw mix of punk, rap, and pop, built from personal recordings and samples that shoot off in all directions.
