We push back against whitewashing, commercialization, and performative allyship — making room for something grounded, collective, and less easily packaged.

Decades ago, the VERA Flikker*groep carved out a space for queer nightculture in Groningen with Flikkerdisco, because no one handed it to them. Now Flikkerdisco is back in VERA(!!!), in homage to the group that made it possible back then.
