Happy Camper returns with their anticipated fifth album, ‘When Waves Rise’, a rich concept record full of elegant indie pop, shaped by influences from French chanson and Eastern European folk. Job Roggeveen co-wrote the songs with singer-songwriter Leine. Together with Bouke Zoete, they give the voices to two lovers dreaming of a new life on a remote island. Their dreamy, expressive vocals bring the story to life. On stage, Job narrates the tale further, accompanied by a live band.
