Ambient and invasive post-doom
Since 2012, Belgium’s Hemelbestormer has been forging a relentless blend of doom, ambient, and black metal into a fully instrumental and deeply immersive experience. Their sound treads the line between light and darkness, order and chaos, pulling you in with unyielding force. On stage, they keep it stark but intense: minimal lights, hypnotic space projections, and a wall of sound that feels like you’re slowly being swallowed by a black hole.
Support comes from Rotterdam-based post-doom formation Gavran. Think of an enormous wall of sound drawing from doom, sludge, shoegaze, and post-rock. For their latest release The One Who Propels, they collaborated with Marius Prins (Throwing Bricks) and Tim de Gieter (Amenra, Doodseskader), a powerful successor to their previous album Indistinct Beacon.
