Canadian singer-songwriter Julianna Riolino effortlessly brings together classic Americana with alt-country, soul and rock ’n roll. She writes warm, melodic songs filled with honky-tonk piano, pedal steel and a touch of drama. For the VERA audience, Riolino is no stranger: she also plays in Daniel Romano’s band and has previously performed at VERA in that capacity, including as a support act. Her newest album Echo In The Dust builds on the alt-country foundation of her debut while introducing stronger rock influences — a personal and dynamic record that highlights her growth as an artist and songwriter.

The trio In Good Spirit will open the evening with their harmonious indie sound.
