The Californian psychedelic shoegaze band LSD & Search for God, formed in 2005, quickly established themselves on the underground scene thanks to their hypnotic live shows and music with influences from My Bloody Valentine, Slowdive, and Sonic Youth.

Their debut EP, LSD & The Search For God (2007), was critically acclaimed and re-released several times, appearing on essential compilations. Their most recent album, Heaven Is a Place (2016), was also widely praised, with critics calling it a “long-awaited sermon.” This summer, they will be performing at VERA.
