In November VERA welcomes Minami Deutsch, the Tokyo-born masters of hypnotic repetition. Self-proclaimed “repetition freaks,” they channel the motorik pulse of classic krautrock, infused with psychedelic rock and minimal techno. Founded by Kyotaro Miula in 2014, the band’s journey began on Tokyo’s streets and has since taken them across Europe and the US, playing VERA in 2018.

Their latest album, Fortune Goodies (2022), blends Berlin-inspired influences with a uniquely Japanese perspective on krautrock’s legacy. After a packed 2024 touring North America alongside Earthless and playing Levitation Festival, Minami Deutsch are ready to lock VERA into a relentless, mind-expanding groove.

WEITE is an instrumental psychedelic/progressive rock band from Berlin, Germany.
