Bristol-based, electrifying live techno band SCALER (fka Scalping) fuse the city’s off-the-wall dance music with the brute force of noise and punk. Their blistering performances are powered by meticulous production and an insatiable drive to push genre and technology to their limits.

Formed in 2017, SCALER spent two years playing select, high-impact shows in Bristol, building a reputation for intensity and precision before releasing any music. Their gear setup reflects that ethos: basslines rumble one or two octaves below the norm via subharmonic generators and a dual-amp system that functions like a mobile soundsystem, while sidechained guitar effects create studio-grade dynamics live on stage.
