After playing Jagersonic in 2020, SLOPER returns to the VERA MainStage.

Sometimes life is simple: You rock out with guitars & drums just because you love it, because it gives you goosebumps.

Veterans behind the drums, Cesar Zuiderwijk (Golden Earring) and Mario Goossens (Triggerfinger) recruited golden-voiced Pete Shoulder (The Union, Winterville, Silverthorne) and guitarist Fabio Canini for some good old fashioned rock’n’roll. Starting with a few covers to get in the right mood, then quickly incorporating new compositions, all in a classic rock style. No need to re-invent the wheel, just keep an open mind for fat riffs, double jungledrums and a wonderful voice.

Support for this show is Splinter. With a truckload of musical experience, Douwe, Sander, Gertjan and Barry formed a brand new band –one that radiates unbridledpunk energy. The four had each toured the world with Death Alley, Birth of Joy, and Vanderbuyst, but those heavier sounds now give way to the pure pleasure and catchy tunes of Splinter.Splinter’s debut album ‘Filthy Pleasures’ is roughly 100% uncut (punk)energy.
