A beacon of boundary-pushing heaviness, Terzij de Horde has built a reputation on complex, furious and dynamic songs and raging, emotional live shows since 2009. Their music is unquestionably black metal, but their energy and attitude draw from grind, hardcore punk and the extreme edges of screamo. Rather than keeping audiences at a cold distance, they forcefully pull them close, creating a shared space of catharsis.

Their newest release, ‘Our Breath Is Not Ours Alone’, adds melodic intensity and openness to their sound, while amplifying the fire in each track. Lyrically, it confronts the struggle for courage and responsibility in a world shaped by overwhelming, soul-eroding systems, drawing inspiration from Hartmut Rosa’s ideas on resonance and alienation.

There are two support acts scheduled for this evening! First support act Lijkschouwer takes their inspiration from the endings, the finality of death and the all-encompassing void in which everything is nothing, resulting in their black/death/sludge-metal sound. Second support is Onhou is rooted in Groningen and embodying their northern heritage by mixing desolate sludgy Doom riffs with miserable Post-metal atmospheres.
