Since the release of their first album in 2017 called Silence Slowly And Madly Shines, the members of The Psychotic Monks have remained determined to put on unique live shows. Characterised by their quirky song structures, which each band member co-writes -sings and -composes. The band plays dark, psychedelic rock with influences from noise to trance and sometimes whispering and sometimes screaming vocals.
In 2019, the band still shared the VERA Mainstage with Girl in Red, Gurr and FEET as the closing act of the third day of Eurononic. High time they came back again for their own show!
Support Abdomen creates raw and intense post-punk filled with distortion, chorus, and reverb. The three unique Frisians draw influences from a wide range of genres and blend them into a captivating sea of sound. Abdomen has gained extensive live experience by providing support for bands such as Ex-Cult and Bad Breeding.
