In the early morning of Feb. 3, 1979, in the middle of the Cold War and in the middle of the Netherlands, a huge triangular object flew over Soesterberg Air Base. At least twelve men from the military guard service witnessed it. They were stunned because although they were trained observers, they had never seen anything so strange. The event still remains unexplained. ‘The UFO of Soesterberg’ can easily be called the Netherlands’ most important UFO incident, yet not many people will know about it….

In this documentary the case is extensively explained and shows that our little country is not inferior to America when it comes to bizarre UFO stories. The UFOs of Soesterberg is not science fiction. It is stranger than fiction!

Bram Roza debuted in 2018 with the globally acclaimed documentary Xangadix Lives!, a documentary about the bizarre genesis and impact of the Dutch cult film The Johnsons. His second film is a logical choice. As early as elementary school, all of his speaking engagements and papers were about UFOs. The ambassadorship for the subject never passed and he founded UFO Meldpunt Nederland in 2005. So he speaks a lot with very normal people who have very abnormal stories. The UFOs of Soesterberg tells such stories and is the first Dutch documentary about this elusive phenomenon.
