Water Damage is a drone music collective from Austin, featuring members of Swans, Spray Paint, and Black Eyes, among others. Their music revolves around repetition and minimal variation, guided by their motto: “Maximal Repetition Minimal Deviation.” Each piece is built around a single idea that gradually evolves into a layered and immersive sound structure.

Their 2024 album In E was described by Pitchfork as a “glorious mind eraser” and offers a good impression of what to expect from their live shows: intense, physical waves of sound that slowly build and fully envelop the listener.
