Over a hundred years later, the film takes on a new musical dimension with a live soundtrack by Hiverne. This four-piece band from Rome operates at the intersection of IDM, glitch and indietronica. Remarkably, they create their electronic sound entirely live using traditional instruments: bass, guitar, keyboards and acoustic drums.

Hiverne composed the soundtrack specifically for Battleship Potemkin, bringing Eisenstein’s revolutionary visual language into collision with rhythmic complexity, electronic structures and the physical energy of a live band. A silent film classic, brought back to life for contemporary audiences.
