One hundred years ago, the expressionist filmmaker F.W. Murnau made the famous horror film ‘Nosferatu, eine Symphonie des Grauens’. Based on Bram Stoker’s famous Dracula, Nosferatu is one of the first horror films ever made. The lugubrious beauty, terrifying precision in mis-en-scène, unsettling atmosphere and camera work are still a source of inspiration for many contemporary horror filmmakers.

Captivated by the film, the film musicians from AutonomY has spent the past few years working on a dedicated soundtrack for the film, with music specifically tailored to the unique atmosphere of each scene. After the screening of the film AutonomY member Lesley Verbeek will sit down for a Q&A and talk about her making process.
