The deceptively sweet songs of the Dutch/British Fiona Jane are fresh and gritty, easy, and vile. Her songs are very varied, authentic, original and always instantly recognisable. Fiona Jane Pop’s music varies from serene subdued indie pop, to melodic bluesy garage pop, to overwhelming drone-punky-noise violence. And within this broad range Fiona Jane’s characteristic sweet voice is always the defining factor.

Fiona Jane started writing songs at home on the sofa with her guitar. But it soon became clear that her songs demanded a more elaborate sonic approach, and with three experienced musicians from the Groningen and Amsterdam underground scene her songs were transformed into versatile Fiona Jane Pop songs

The debut album ‘Fiona Jane Pop’ will be released on vinyl in April 2023 by Milkcow Records.
